you don't live in Australia, you probably have not heard of the recent so called attacks of racism against Indian male students.
To sum up what has been happening, basically a bunch of indian male students get mugged in the middle of the night. These students claim they are attacked because society is racist and Kevin Rudd (Prime minister of Australia) and the general public, claim it is not racism as these students were easy targets. Anyoen that goes out in themiddle of the night alone gets mugged and the majority of these students work at night. The Indian Government made a big issue out of it and tuined Australias image.

Now, in India, women in night clubs and pubs are geting bashed by a number of men and getting thrown into jail for drinking and wearing revealing outfits. They are getting bashed for flirting with men. These group of men think Indian women are no longer traditional and are following the western culture. They say that men cannot be blamed for sexual assault when these women act indecently. But is anything being done about the treatment of these women? No.

*Google Sena pub attack Mangalore for more information"

I find it surprising (not really) and shocking that a whole country will do anything for males but nothing for females.

What do you think?

Note: I am in no way being racist against Indians. Just thought I'd point out the obvious.
