With the world getting smaller each day, we appear to be stumbling all over each other. Humans have basic needs we all understand, regardless of culture. Yet cultural values and perceptions seem to be the biggest barriers to cooperation and often our words do not translate into the same literal meanings. How much do you think culture plays in undermining intercultural cooperation? What do you think is the most effective way to communicate so that misunderstandings do not take place?
