Does complaining serve any purpose at all?

We are naturally born with it. God actually WANTED us to complain!! He says it teaches us a lesson on self-control. Complaining isn't a good thing, but in some cases, it can be. Let's say a national crisis is going on...and someone complains when no one's doing anything about it...very unlikely but let's just say...then it's a good thing. Complaining to parents, teachers, co-workers, siblings, adults, little children, etc. is a terrible thing. It only teaches/encourages THEM to complain...

Can ya catch my drift?

K'vetching (complaining) makes you feel better about your situation when things go wrong.

Other than that it doesn't serve any other purpose.

complaining is a perfectly natural response to being presented with conditions that you are unhappy with. Surely the aptitude to complain is nature, and the method through which we complain is nurture (i've been told i moan and complain in the same "style" as my dad)

How will people know what is upsetting you if you don't complain?
