environment - my meaning is thus;? Throughout history people have been labelled by christians as "heretics" and "evil" people - indeed a prevailing historical myth is that the knights templar were deemed "too powerful" and were thusly executed en masse.
That's just a myth, of course.
But aren't there numerous examples in history where christians, indeed christian authorities, have used their powers to damn those who were later considered well-meaning and civilized individuals?
Why is it that, throughout history, the grand authority behind christianity, the holy papalcy, has seen it necessary to pass judgment - often frivolous or meaningless in nature - upon the common man?
Is it not the case that the highest body of christian authority might even have LIED to the very people it supposedly is trying to shepherd into the arms of the lord?
also, i made a spelling error.
bugger.
