Does Blockbuster repair scratches on game disks?

I have a gamecube game disk with a lot of pretty shallow scratches on it. Nothing deep. And it still plays fine, but every once in a while it will say on the tv screen "cannot read gamecube disk please restart" or something like that. Do you think if I took the game to Blockbuster, they'll be able to polish the scratches out? And if they can, how much would it cost?
I called blockbuster and they said they don't >:OOOOOOO
