does beef lose Oz or Grams or weight in general as you cook it?

Ive been looking up nutrition information for Beef Round Tip Steak and its says 3oz cooked, the meat I ate was 1lb prior to cooking. Anyone wanna provide some help so I can come as accurate as possible to the nutrition info? thanks
