What does this mean? Anyone out there !

"Please contact your mail server administrator to enable e-mail forwarding on your mail server"

I have a Rogers Blackberry Curve 8300, and I downloaded the BEAMBERRY software application to do wireless printing to my Bluetooth-enabled Canon PIXMA ip90 mobile printer.
The software installed successfully but does not work. When I open an attachment with "open with Beamberry" option and select "view", it says "retriving document" and does nothing (does not retrieve) ... I eventually cancel the app...

The Beamberry software support guy, in response to my problem, sent me an email with that message (above):

I just have Blackberry Desktop manager on my Dell Microsoft Vista computer and I do not know what is meant by that message. My blackberry is standalone and not associated with a corporate IT environment ... What is "mail server administrator" and what is "enable email forwarding on your mail server" mean ?

Does anyone with a Rogers Blackberry have BEAMBERRY working on their device?!

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Works fine on my curve, I dunno about the printing process but I can load the getting started.pdf they have just fine.

Does Anyone on ROGERS have wireless printing of emails / attachments working on their device, and if so, what product are they using?

I just tried repligo ... the software downloaded successfully on my ROGERS 8300, but when i go to open an email attachment, with the "open with Repligo"option, i get nothing ... the attachment is not opened (similar to the other products which also were not able to open the attachment ... )

has anyone with a ROGERS BB had success with any of these products (REPLIGO, BEAMBERRY, DYNOPLEX) to print emails and attachments to a mobile printer that has a bluetooth adaptor?

bpd,

In response to your first post, I suspect that the Beamberry support person was talking about where your email account actually resides. Do you use a gmail account, yahoo account, Rogers account, etc. for your email?

Squished: thanks .. Rogers. None of these products : REPLIGO, DYNOPLEX, or BEAMBERRY have worked to date on my ROGERS Blackberry 8300. Does anyone with a Rogers Blackberry have any of these apps working on their device?

Is Rogers the problem?

bpd,

If your email account is a Roger email account, I believe it is hosted by Yahoo. When you access your mail account through a web browser, it is possible to change the options such that you can enable mail forwarding. This sounds like what Beamberry is asking you to do. Not sure why this would be required, and personally I wouldn't want to use a service that requires mail forwarding.

squished: I am not aware of any Yahoo involvement AT ALL in my BB setup ... Perhaps someone familiar with Rogers Canada Blackberry can comment ...

The blackberry account was setup using BIS on my Dell PC which runs Microsoft Vista ... I do not automatically forward other emails to my blackberry email account ... although I do have on my PC a bell sympatico email account that I access with MS Outlook, but I keep that separate from my blackberry email account.

Help! Rogers Canada Blackberry users!
