does anyone think bale is sorry about how TDK has turned out in the media

I know quite a few people that are seeing it because its Heaths last film. They have never seen any other Batman film and are simply going because they were Heath fans. And they will not be alone in that im afraid.

I wouldn't want to know the people you do then. People who go and see this film, just because they think it's Heath Ledgers last are morbid. And how they'll sit through a 2 and a half hour film in which he's not in every scene is beyond me if they have no interest in Batman whatsoever.

If theres a small percentage of people who actually go and see this just because of Heaths death, then it's just that, a small percentage.

I never knew Heath Ledger had so many fans? He sure as hell didn't when some of his other films were released.

PS This isn't his last film, 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' is his last film, so maybe inform your frienRAB that they've misunderstood the press and it must be the press since the movie company has made no reference to this being his last film.

I don't think Bale has a problem with it. It is inevitable once the first film focussed on Bruce and Batman that subsequent films would move the focus onto other characters. IMO the Joker is always going to be a more interesting character than Batman adding to that Ledger gave a steller perfromance.

The movie would have been successful purely based on the audience who want to see a Batman film featuring the Joker. Of course Ledger's death is going to increase the possible audience, but I would imagine that people will walk away still enjoying the movie not just for Ledger.

I'm in no doubt that Keith Ledgers death has hyped this film to a level it would never have acheived had he still been alive.

However, now it's out it has certainly kept the momentum moving, so much so that I actaully quite fancy watching it myself.

If you don't/didn't want to watch it then don't.

Have you seen Batman Begins?

It would be hyped. There was one of the biggest marketing campaigns for the film. Ledgers death hasn't changed the positive buzz of the film, just given the media something to talk about.

I didn't have any interest in the film - and I HATE hype.

However, there is too much of a buzz for it to be just hype - maybe it is actually a good movie!

There are lots of good movies. But you say you are not interested in it.

And you would be doing yourself and everyone involved in the film a disservice if you haven't seen Batman Begins.
