There's a couple, but the woman has to move somewhere (I don't remember why) and so the guy promises to send her a letter everyday, or something like that. He does, but she doesn't receive any of the letters because her parents were intercepting them or something. So she later gets engaged because she thinks the guy doesn't care for her anymore. I think I watched it somewhere from 2007-2008. Any ideas?
Edit: I don't think it's the notebook, but I'll check it out. I think it was set in europe and I remember seeing a castle like structure.
