Does anyone remember this line?

It's probably one of thee most inconsequential lines ever, but it's been driving me mad... The characters must have known each other for a short time and the Guy must not speak English as a first language because I remember, though he was fluent, had to search for the right words.

He said, something like:"I'm sorry your day was so....difficult."

And she said: "Not all of it was."

It was supposed to imply that the time she spent with him was pleasant. Anyone? Ahhh! It's on the tip of my tongue but I can't remember the movie! Please help!
