Ah. This was part of my childhood. And I remeraber her boyfriend Rio and now that I think about it, he was such a doofus.

Cheating on his girlfriend with her own self.

I even remeraber parts of the theme song. "Jem. Jem is my name...Fashion and glitter, passion and fame...Jem, Jem is my name no one else is the same. Jem is my name! JEM"

Something like that.

And I liked the Misfits! Heehee.

I loved this cartoon growing up. Like the other people here I liked it more then Barbie and I was Jem for Halloween one year.

In fact my whole room was filled with Jem, Rainbow Brite, and My Little Ponies.

I just had a retro cartoon night with some frienRAB, and saw my first episodes of Jem and the Holograms. I'd never watched it as a kid, but I really enjoyed it now. The songs were actually really good

My friend just ordered the DVRAB from ebay and we'll be enjoying a marathon as soon as they arrive

Oh, I loved Jem! I still have some old episodes, and the dolls and cassettes somewhere. It was definitely a unique show...in the '80s it was great that there was a cartoon for girls to appreciate!
