the removal act moved the indians of south eastern states to oklahoma. we took all their land and homes and made them move--it was called the trail of tears because it was a very harsh journey and many died on the trip [ a lot of them walked] the trip ended in oklahoma and i believe it was near the town of stillwell.-- oklahoma is has 39 tribal headquaters located in the state. back then it was called indian terrority
