Australia is in the fortunate position that it has to try really hard to find any local history worth teaching. No wars. No revolutions. No invasions (except in 1788). No huge political upheavals. The major talent required of Australian historians is the creation of mountains out of molehills.

hahaha i have no idea what australias history is. what ever happened to it? i havent heard anyone mention that continent in forever! its all about the US or Middleeast these days....

So, obviously not

As for my history teacher - she was American. And she didn't ummm "sing/hum" during the lesson.
