Does anyone knows how to fix a 1998 ford contour blower switch?

My (1998 ford contour) blower switch always worked on the higher setting and it never blow out heat on the lower settings, but yesterday it completely stop working on all settings.
Can someone give me a detail description about how to fix it and what might be the problem.
