If you describe it as "broken down" don't expect much more than a few hundred dollars. Your other options are to sell it for parts. Donate it to a charity or have a junk yard haul it off. If it were me, I'd offer it to a charity and take the tax deductible contribution. Everyone benefits from that arrangement.
