S Stupid Flanders New member May 12, 2009 #3 There are only a handful of reliable cars today that you can get new for under $13K. - Toyota Yaris - Nissan Sentra - Ford Focus - Kia Spectra Forget the Chevy Aveo, Chevy Cobalt and the Nissan Versa. Poor reliability ratings to date. If you are looking at used, check out the Consumer reports used car buyers guide from your local library.
