Does anyone know when I could get a really good deal on tv speakers?

I have a 42 inch lcd tv and im looking to put in two of those tall speakers that stand on the floor. Does anyone know what is a reall good deal for them, im only looking for 2 floor speakers not the set of 5. I am looking to spend up to 50 dollars only since money is short

You can not add a big speaker like you mentioned to the tv without burning up the power amplifier on the tv. It has only a 5 - 10 watts of power and the speaker you want requires more power. You'll have to add a power amplifier to drive the speakers. Your best choice is buying a receiver or a Home Theater in Box. Go to craiglist, ebay or the swap meet and look.
 
Well the HTIB(home theater in a box) is a good temporary fix but if you are looking to have a badass setup get a receiver/amp and build onto it. You will have SOOOO much better sound and will be able to add or subtract speakers if needed. The HTIB's really limit you on what you can add and if anything. Even when i was living in an apt. when i could not blast it too loud I had a pioneer receiver, a left and right Klipsch floor speaker and of course the center but you have to look at which is more important. Quality or cost?
 
you are not going to find a better place then ebay for a cheap deal

go to ebay and type in stereo speakers (you want 2 only) and search
