I read it many years ago. It's a fiction book about a girl who goes to this place where everyone wears masks and they put make up on their masks to make them different everyday. It's basically about body dysmorphia as they never take the masks off. I'm pretty sure the girl ends up cutting her face because she thought it didn't look perfect.
