does anyone know the true meaning behind the lyrics of Garden Party-Ricky Nelson?

rick nelson played a "oldies" show at Madison Square garden and the crowd booed him because he played some of his newer country-rock songs instead of just the oldies...ricky nelson is very very underrated actually..all the people he mentions either perfomed or were in the audience at that show
