my brother and i read a sci-fi book back when we were in school, and would like to get a copy to pass down to our younger brothers, but neither one of us can remember the title of it. it had something to do with "classes" of people, and the lowest class did games for entertainment of the upper classes. once so often you could play the games and if you won you became an upper part of society for life. but during the book he travels to another world/dimention, something where when he spoke in rhymes things would happen by magic. and i remember he befriends a unicorn that was really a person? i don't know, but if anyone out there knows what i'm talking about please let me know the title of the book. thanks!
