Does anyone know the title/author of this book?

In my youth, I was fond of a large picture book at my local library, the author and title of which now elude me. It solely consisted of illustrations of assorted megafauna (large animals like blue whales, elephants, and various prehistoric creatures) drawn to scale with average-sized humans standing next to them. It was quite old, probably dating back to the 1960's or 1970's.
