I placed a new radiator and thermostat in the truck and I am trying to fill the radiator up. I have about 13 quarts in it. I do not know if it has rear heat but there is a heat control for the rear passengers located in between the two front seats. Please help. Thanks

You needn't really need to know the total volume of coolant to put in. Just make sure when you add coolant it is mixed 50/ 50. In other words be sure the coolant you buy is mixed together with water. Basically half and half, half coolant and half water. If you pour straight antifreeze( or coolant as it's also known) or dont mix it 50/ 50 you will also overheat your engine. Just remember to mix the coolant with water, whatever the total volume you need to fill your system, and you will have the right mixture.
