Alright, I'm looking for a game that we used to be allowed to play at school if we finished early with our work and had time to kill. The year was 1991 or 1992, around there, and the computer might have been the next "edition" of the Apple computer (mac maybe?).
So let me now describe the game. It had a dungeons and dragons feel to it. You were a knight or an explorer or something, and I remember constantly looking for gold in what I think were different "rooms" that were laid out like unlit mazes. Every now and then, you'd see a snake go through the maze/room and you just had to hope that it wouldn't hit you because you couldn't move while a snake was moving around. You were looking for maps, candles (I think), food, stuff like that. The graphics were literally NILL. What I remember most was a black screen and nothing more. You knew where you were based on a dot on the black screen and there were other colored dots on the screen to sometimes show you where gold was or quick sand or other stuff. I remember the entire game fit on just one of those floppy 512KB disks. I also remember the disk looked pretty old, so the game might have been made in the 80's and it had just been in the classroom for a long time being run on more updated computers.
Does anyone have any idea what that game was called? I know this is a total shot in the dark asking on Y! Answers, but It's been almost 20 years now and I wish I could play it again because I remember that game was insanely fun even though it was totally old school. I just don't know what the name of it was and I'm hoping someone on here might know something about old games.
Thanks in advance!
