Ok so all i remember of this story was this;
It's about a young women who's the head of her family after her father passed away and aspires to be a great swordsman but isn't really any good. She meets a swordmaker (also young) with an odd assistant with some sort of optical sword making powers.... to make swords he recites some sort of spell and pulls out a katana from the middle of the spell circle..... and each sword usually has some sort of magical power.
Also, his assistant seems to be his old friend who was killed by this demon in a cave...
Thats all i remember... does anyone know what anime im talking about? i lost track of it and wanted to catch up on it again, thanks
