Does anyone know the history of the Jewish population in "Ladadika"

neighbourhood in Thessaloniki, Greece? All I keep finding is that it "used to be the Jewish quarter" but know very little about their life there. ANY history on the happenings in the Ladadika between 1917-1970s would be helpful. Pictures would be a big bonus. Thanks in advance.
