...and recreation? They are always in the mountains where you can fish for trout, kayak, canoe, white water rafting, theme parks, water parks, camping, snow skiing, horse back riding, hiking, water skiing and atv riding. There might be some argument for living in Florida, but who wants the heat. The problem is people live in areas where there's nothing to do for recreation. People that live near National Forests have so much they can do. If you live near the cities you can only go to a movie, restaurant or go bowling. Big deal. Move to where there is recreation and you'll never be sorry. To hell with living near your relatives. I have many relatives, but they never have any get togethers and they never invite you over, so what the hell is the use living near them. Frig the relatives and move to where you can have fun. Riding around, going to bars and drinking beer is the life of a loser.

I can name 2 places that have a lot to do like skiing, snowboarding, hiking, fishing and lots of other things to do.
1) Montana. There are lots of things to do there. Skiing, hiking, mountain climbing, national parks, camp grounds and lots of lakes for fishing.
2) Oregon. Summers are mild, wilnters are too. Lots of rain is probably a drawback for those who don't like it. Oregon has a variety of things to do. There are mountains for skiing, fishing and other winter and summer activities. Lots of lakes and national parks like Crater Lake, Detroit Lake and The Van Duser Corridor and park. There are animal preserves, theme parks like Knotts Berry Farms, Petting Zoo's, Oregon Coast Aquarium and lots of beach activites. There is whale watching, ocean fishing, lighthouses and dunes to ride atv's on.

Sportsman`s paradise the land of fishing, hunting, football, basketball, baseball, softball. You can fish offshore or inland- saltwater or freshwater rivers, bayous and lakes. I have 10 days of vacation left and I am going fishing 7 or 8 of those days this month the summers are in the 90`s but the winters are pretty mild way down in south Louisiana.
