I'm looking for a program, ála pro/desktop that will allowe me to model a desgin and then test it for tensile strength before I build it out of steel or similar. Something which could show me the pressure distribution would be great.
On a related note, I'm looking for a program which can simulate fluid mechanics including such features as flow and buoyancy.
A program that did both would be one that could show me where the pressure distribution was on a pipe with a bend as water flows through it at a certain speed.
It's possible that I can do both of these in pr/desktop. If I can, let me know.
