does anyone know of cultures that do not have a lot of....?

physical affection such as hugging and touching between children and parents? I am doing a psychology paper on the affects of parental-physical-negligence upon their children, and i assume that there are cultures where parents are extremely affectionate towards children, while others initiate touch at the minimal, such as changing dipers. If anyone knows such cultures/countries PLEASE, I BEG YOU list them.
 
I think so Japan also. But I'll tell you the shock I got when I met my first boyfriends parents who were from a farm in the country. Both the mother and father immediately hugged me and kissed me mouth to mouth!
