That have published books written by tweens? Is anyone here an author? I'm thinking of writing a book about me,my friends and politics(it's sort of hard to explain on the internet instead of face to face). Do you think they might publish it?
Who reads it to see if it should be published? How long does it take to be published? Should I even try?

I'm full of questions so PLEASE answer!!!!
 
The 2008 Writers Market book is a good place to check out. It has a lot of addresses to publishers along with guidelines of how they want it submitted.

Sure, I think everybody should try to write and publish a book. You should ask your local library or bookstore for the latest edition of "Writer's Market," which has a huge list of publishers, what they publish, and tips on getting published. Also be sure to check out these tutorials if you have any questions about the writing process: http://www.elfwood.com/farp/writing.html They're geared more for fantasy writers but they have great tips for writers of any genre.
