I posted a question about suggestions for a teacher in survival mode and I had received a lot of great answers. Unfortunately there is no respond back button and so I would like to know if there are any teacher forums out there so that I could respond to great comments and answers etc?
To give you more of a specific account of my situation, let me explain: I am a 3rd year teacher. I struggle with classroom management and the worst is that it isn't something I can even put my finger on. Its the stirn look or the confidence that I am lacking and the kids notice it perhaps. . .and therefore I become less scary and therefore they disrespect me I suppose. . .these are just guesses. So does anyone know of teacher chat forums or websites designed for struggling teachers? I would like to keep my job and improve instead of convincing myself that I am destined to fail and chose the wrong career.
