family in Carigara? I want to find a small van to buy for my fiance's family in Carigara. A vehicle that seats at least 6 or more..and is not too old or not too new...maybe mid-1990's..around 100k-200k pesos..and someone could go pick it up and drive it back to Carigara.

on my opinion all cars are almost the same, the only thing you need to know is the maintenance try to know first if theres any suzuki spareparts available in your place, because if you dont its so expensive if you need to import some of the parts,, in philippines its always toyota and mitsubishi are the top sellers because of cheap maintenance

Well actually for the money P180 to P200k your better off just buying a new one or getting a new mullticab. Used vehicles here get beat to death and most people do not do regular maintance like changing oil etc. They only fix something when it breaks and using the cheapest possible korean parts.

For the suzuki your describing you should not pay more than P80k and thats only if it's in really good gondition. At most you'll only fit 8 Filippino size people in that suzuki. Getting parts to fix it is no problem as they are common. Don't expect too much in the way of performance as it's only a little 3 cyl gasoline engine. If you buy a new multicab then you can fit 10 or 12 people.

PS: The Suzkui is a good quality truck.
There is no such thing as a small family here in the Philippines :).

Where is Carigara?

I've driven a Suzuki Super Carry similar to Scrum. It's fuel efficient and can run on the fast lane too. Good for small town driving side by side with those jeepneys and tricycles.
