...the math (algebra) requirement? I am a math class away from my B.S. in Political Science. I have taken pre-algebra 3 times and cannot comprehend it. . I have to take Pre-algebra then intermediate algebra and finally College algebra and I will finally have my degree. I have 4 children (15,11,7 & 6 months) and work full-time and really don't have the time for the stress I always experience when taking this math. Each time I too pre-algebra, I went to tutoring 2 x a week, I was faithful to go to all my classes and attempt to understand my homework.I would have breakdowns and cry while doing my homework. I am fine when my professor helps me or I am with the tutor. I have 2 childen that are ADHD and one of my friends suggested I may have it (I pretty sure I do-just haven't confronted that possibilty) and speak with the university to see if they acknowledge that as a learning disability. Has anyone ever heard of that? This math is the ONLY class left /preventing me from graduating. Any help/suggestions I am so grateful for. Thank-you in advance!
