Does anyone know how to make yarn puffballs? Please tell me the steps?

I've been interested in this art thingy about yarn puff balls... all i know is that you have to twirl it on something...either cardboard discs or something cylinder then you cut it and do something else..
pls. explain the steps clearly... thanks
