Does anyone know any books about American culture written by a non-Americans?

I'm interesting in learning about my country's culture from other culture's perspectives. A book by someone on the outside looking in.

I can read Spanish pretty well.

Does anyone know any? Any answers are really appreciated.

You should try reading books about other types of governments. Fascism, Communism, Totalitarian.

As far as "non-American" books about American culture, you will probably just find a lot of opinionated propaganda depending on where it is from. Get a Muslim book about us, that would probably be pretty funny.
