Does anyone know an agenda software that DOESNT sync?

Hi:

I just got a new T3 on christmas. :D Most of my friends says it's an old model, but I'm very happy with it. :p

The problem is that I want to have two separate agendas inside ite. One, of course, is the agenda that the palm includes (Calendars, ect). I will use that one to appoint my students and orientations schedules.

But i also have a job that need a very tight time planning, and because in the agenda of the palm I will be holding my investigations schedules, I need, or would be prefereable, have two separate agendas in the palm (Sorry, I'm too complicated to have all in one).

I have the option to put to my work schedules the "private" and tell the palm show them only when I want, but when both schedules are in the screen, is just too much to the same place. Besides, i don't like the password stuff for that kind of things.

So... I have been viewing some agenda softwares (agendus is highly recomended by my thesis director) but all have the "problem"(i know that it suppose to be a good thing) that syncronize automaticly.

Does anyone know an agenda software that DOESNT sync or that have the option of do not sync?

Thanks a lot for all your help!!! :D

Besides the conduit setting for syncing on the PC, there is a setting on the handheld and if that hot sync conduit setting on the handheld isn't checked that particular "sync" won't.

That still doesn't solve your issue, however. I'd recommend you look at a program called ClearSync you may be able to configure it to satisfy you request.

One suggestion is to create categories for your different schedules.

As for the T3, it is an old model. I have had mine for 3 years. However, it is still the fastest and most reliable Palm device to date. The so called 'new' devices have slower processors, and don't have voice recording or vibrating alerts. The newer models have flash memory to keep data from being lost. But it also makes some programs crash. Of course, the Treo phones have vibrating and and microphones. But the newer Tungsten models don't.

Hi:
I exactly think the same. My uncles let me choose any model I wanted (i'm a crazy grad student and with my old te dead, i just can't make it all) and I thought a livedrive because its amazin 4gb drive... but i readed somewhere that it crashes a lot (i'm not sure if is right, i just say what i readed). So i look model by model... and I thinkg that t3 is the most complete one for me, because i record some of my clases, and the vibrating alarm is just perfect. Also the screen is adecuated to me, because i usually have my palm in my pocket... I really understand few things about processors, but I i also tell that to my cousins. (I have a tech freak cousin that is mad with my decision... why not a lifedrive !!!!!!!!!!!!, he says. Duh!)

I'm very happy with it.

About the diferent schedules, making diferent categories will create different schedules and calendars for each category?

Thanks! :D
