I have a 2001 Ford Escape XLT. Yesterday while I was driving the O/D OFF light started flashing. Later during the day it started having problems shifting into first. I drove it home and parked it. I've checked the transmission fluid level and it fine. Does anyone have any opinions on what they think might be wrong with it? I really don't have the money right now to have a transmission rebuilt in it either.
