Does anyone know about Lunenburg lifestyle?

How is Lunenburg? I might get a job offer there sometime soon and am wondering about wether it has bus/transit transportation and the standard of living and affordable lifestyle? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
 
It's a great old place, good living and reasonable costs, but bus/transit is virtually non-existent, cabs rare and expensive. You would need a car, to be sure.
 
Its an hour outside of Halifax and very slow old style living. You need a car or to live where you can walk to work. Living is affordable.
