I have a huge fear of having an inner ear disorder. ever since last april when my doc told me i had labryinthsis...because i had a little bit of fluid in my ear and i felt a little off balance....but i never had huge dizziness or anything so i went to an ENT and he told me i never could have had that diease and my ears were clear. sooo i never had that diease but from then on i have had a huge fear of getting an inner ear disoder...and i think this is causing my off balance and sometimes dizzy feelings. and now the past few nights when i try to sleep it starts to spin and then i open my eyes and everything is fine...soo I don't know if its anixety or could it be an inner ear thing???

anyone else fear this or have these symptoms or think its anxiety or and inner ear problem??

please someone help me

im freaking out

its been over a year or worrying

im going to an ENT who specializes in dizziness on july 1 soo we will see

please help anyone!!!

My husband had labyrinthitis, which is scary but is simply an inflammation of the middle ear. It's not a disease. He had it once about five years ago and not since.
There's no need to think that if you've had it once, you'll have it again, but I sure understand why you would be anxious about it. Feeling dizzy is a lousy feeling.
You CAN feel dizzy from anxiety. I'm really sorry you're having a rough time.

My husband was in the hospital for four days when he had it, and couldn't work for a month. Doesn't sound like that was your experience. Hope you get the answer you are looking for.
