Does anyone have any exercise plans for a girl that's 17, 5'3, weighs 184?

I'm thinking if I do 45 minutes of cardio, and walk/run an hour a day, plus hanging out with friends will help me in the exercise part.

and for food, i should cut down my portions, and cut down on bad stuf i eat and drink.

do you think this is a good diet plan?
also, is 1500 claories a day good to eat?

any suggestions?
