It is a good car, BUT, I was going to purchase one as well. When I went to the dealer, he said that the vehicle is really expensive for what you get. I was going to trade in my Toyota Corolla for a Prius, and he said that I get the SAME mileage on my Corolla than I would get on the Prius. So, this is a catch by Toyota, let's say. Also, this car does not get the best handling, it isn't a very exciting car as well. I know you are looking for a "green" car, but I would not go with a Prius. Look at some videos about the Prius on YouTube and do some more research. Also, check out some other hybrids, or just get a Corolla or regular Civic. They get great mpgs as well. Good Luck and I wish you best of luck in car hunting!

I'm planning on buying a car soon, and I found a used '05 Prius at a local Carmax. Does anyone have any experience with them? Like, how does it run, and what do you do if the battery runs out?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks a bunch! :)
