No, what I see is an economy ruined by disastrous Republican policies such as tax cuts for the wealthy, deregulation, the ownership society, unnecessary war in Iraq, etc., which were supposed to result in prosperity but instead resulted in tanking the economy.
Obama hadn't even been elected yet when Bush's Treasury Secretary got down on one knee to Nancy Pelosi to beg her to help push his request for 700 billion taxpayer dollars to keep the financial markets from collapsing.
Face reality. Obama is trying to save what is left and is doing everything that the leading economists think is necessary to save our economy. Stop with the bashing and take responsibility for having kept an administration in power for 8 years that pushed us to the edge of economic ruin.
