Personally, I love math despite not being the most brilliant at it. I do not have the highest mark in my school, but I'm in the top 10 -- this I know (excuse me if I sound like a braggart). How I got there was not through being innately brilliant at math, but spending hours working on the same concept(s) that some math student can grasp in a fraction (no pun intended) of the time. When I would finally grasp the concept, it would feel so, so rewarding.
I get my english teachers suggesting I focus on language arts when I go to uni. Yet, to me anyway, it always seems sooo pointless (as one might surmise from this poorly written monologue).
Everything this world is based on is Science and, near inherently, math. Sure, the art are essential to the human experience but we would still be running around in the jungle and savanna without science/math.
So, does anyone else love math. far more than they like the Arts? Would you try and explain why you do?
