Does anyone else love 'Electric Dreams' as much as I do?

Does anyone else remember the fantastic movie from the 80s - Electric Dreams? It was about a man who bought a computer that came to life, and fell in love with the same woman he liked.

The soundtrack was mega cheesy and eighties, but at the same time absolute genius.

I've only been able to get it on a dodgy wobbly DVD version, and was wondering if anyone knows of a better one?

Meet Edgar. He'll make you sing, make you dance, make you laugh, make you cry, make you jealous, make you nuts.

Great film with a good soundtrack too
as for being on dvd sadly no
Check Out Amazon.com

I love the song from it but have never seen it. I read somewhere it is deleted and copies go for heaps of money! I love 80's cheesy films

If you love 80s cheesy films, you will luuuuuuurrrrrrrve this one. I can thoroughly recommend it. The whole soundtrack is cheesy and sloppy (erm), and Maxwell Caulfield (I think he was in Grease 2, and Casualty or Holby City or something) is absolutely gorgeous in it.

It's such a feelgood movie. Ooh, I've got all tingly even thinking about it......

:D I always remember Maxwell Caulfield from his role in Empire RecorRAB...

"We mustn't dwell... no, not today. We CAN'T. Not on Rex Manning day." :D

Never heard of this film before, which is fairly strange since I'm virtually obsessed by all '80s teen movies! Just seen the trailer and it looks cheap, tacky, melodramatic and pretty awfull... So naturally, I can't wait to see it!!! :D ;)

Keep an eye out on ebay.

I was looking for this film for ages and eventually got it on VideoCD (original)

A lot of people are put off VideoCD (VCD) many have only seen a copied / pirate film on this format which usually was of very poor quality. An original VCD is good quality and will play on your DVD player.
