I'm not generally depressed, but today, before my head hurt and before I started seeing funny spots (but not before seeing some flashing lights), I just felt like jumping off a bridge. Other times before a nasty migraine, I'll feel like chewing off people's heads. The I-just-want-to-die feelings are rather frightening because they are so strong and so out of left field.
As soon as I recognized them as prodromal symptoms, I took my rescue meds. I'm glad my head doesn't hurt too much, but all sounds and lights still hurt a lot.
Does anyone else go through this?
How common is this as a migraine symptom?
What do you do?
