Does anyone else feel they can't write about vampires and werewolves...?

without worrying it sounds far too "twilighty"

Goddammitttt!!
I love the whole vamp and wolf idea, but every time I write I cant get the idea that it's too twilight-like out of my head!!


Or maybe it's just me...
