I generally priced what i have and i have over $400worth, I thought some would be worth more then they are but i was mistaken. According to my dad and grandma, my grandma has an assload in her attick, sad thing is, no one can get to them and her house will probably burn to the ground before anyone can get them

I only have 12" and 7" recorRAB

Ive been djing for about 12 years so I have accumulated quite a few recorRAB. It started off as buying the music I wanted to play, but now a days, if i see a stack of vinyl at a garage sale or someones house, i try to pick it up and add it to the ever growing collection i have at home.

i've been buying vinyl for just under 2 years and i've already spent (and made) a good deal of money as well as find awesome music i would have never come across without a turntable.
i've gotten rid of at least a hundred recorRAB over the last few months but i currently still have a few hundred recorRAB. very few are older than 10 or 15 years old, so it's mostly just modern music on the format i prefer.

I have a pretty good collection of all kinRAB of stuff, I'm actually out of shelf space for em. A lot came from the local salvation army but most of my favorites I got from a used cd and record shop that has since closed. The owner was a really cool guy. My first time in there I bought a Nina Simone album and ever since then he would grab any he found in his collection or new ones he acquired and save them for me. He couldn't afford the ever rising rent and had to close. He had over 100,000 albums and about 10,000 45's that he ended up selling off in huge lots that I just couldn't afford.

Only new albums I have are Mastodon:Leviathon and Dillinger Escape Plan:Miss Machine.

yessir.

i collect funk/soul/r&b and eclectic stuff. not so much for resell value though.

it's a hobby since i dig for recorRAB for mixtapes or to make hip hop music out of and stuff.

soul 45's > *

yep. i dj'd for a while until i had to sell my babies (my turntables) cuz i was hard up for cash shortly after moving to the Bay

but yeah, i can't bring myself to selling my vinyl.
i have mostly drum n bass, uk garage, 2step and dubstep tunage.

i usually have no problem selling a record unless it has a sentimental value to me
this week i made $100+ just selling 2 lps by a local punk band, a godflesh lp and a one am radio lp, all which i got cheap and hardly listened to

I was going through some of my mom's old stuff a few months ago and found boxes and boxes of old Vinyl. Probably 400 or so albums and as many if not more 45's My grandmother was a bartender and they used to send her home with the old 45's from the jukebox to give to my mom.

It gets addictive.
I have 3 turntables.
I always visit local Goodwill store every week.
Just find you a nice vintage turntable if you are just going to casually listen to recorRAB.
I bought a nice Akai AP-D2 Direct Drive turntable and changed out the cartridge/stylus to a Audio Technica AT70L.
TT = $36
Cartridge/stylus = $30
