I can believe the possibility of it "poisoning" the fruit somehow, but the day anyone shows the world a Serpent, Reptile or Amphibian that can actually talk to humans I will give up all I believe and follow the Bible blindly...I mean Faithfully.
If it was a metaphor, what for then, and why not just express it the way it was meant instead of using a puzzling metaphor?
I can believe the legs transforming into no legs as that is Evolution at work (will of god; whatever floats your boat). So does that mean that animals talked a lot back in those days huh? If ANY animal told me to do anything so redundantly insignificant why would anyone listen to them...without good reason of course. Enter at your own risk I say.
Rsp: Im glad you referred to religion as Myth. Its the most accurate term that should be used. They use that word to describe or give a title to all the obsolete beliefs of ancient past. Im confused if you yourself believe it or not however. Not that it matters to me, just curious as that is how you make it sound in your answer
