Does anybody remember the title or author of this children's book from the '70s?

"I am the boogeyman, I am. I do not dine on eggs or ham. There's just one thing I like to eat, naughty boys my favorite treat. Roasted toasted, boiled and pickled, Billy's nose began to tickle."

That's all I know and I can't seem to find it on search engines or at least I haven't figured out which website to use for such a thing.

We are the ONLY people who remember this book! I, too, can only remember this part of the book... But I thought that the little boy's name was Sonny, not Billy (but I could be wrong). I have searched and searched and SEARCHED, and I cannot find any mention of it anywhere. My mother even went to the library where they carried it back in the '90s (though I believe the book was written in the '70s), and they claim to have no record of it.

We need to find this book!

I don't know if you'll get this, golbyaka, but I finally found the book! It's called "The Boogey Man" by Arthur Crowley and Annie Gusman. ISBN: 0-395-26458-8. HELL YEAH!!!
