...discuss it together. Fiction please.? My boyfriend and I are both avid readers, and we are hoping to find a book that would be good to read together. Like a miniature book club, we would discuss it after wards. I would appreciate it very much if you knew of a book that is somewhat famous, (possibly a classic) that would be easy to discuss and is interesting. I am sorry if it is a tall order!

That's a really good idea!
For a good classic, why not try 'A picture of Dorian Gray' by Oscar Wilde, really fascinating, and lots to talk about I'm sure.

For something a bit different, but stil fascinating and compelling, why not try 'A Wild Sheep Chase' by Haruki Murakami... there would be loads to talk about in this, and the plotline is totally unexpected, so yeah, give that a go too!

Stephen King's - Duma Key.
It's about a man who loses an arm in a
construction site accident, and take his rehab
down in the Florida Keys, only to find out he has
more than one talent with his other arm. <}:-})

How to draw a picture.
Start with a blank surface.
It doesn't have to be paper or canvas,
but I feel it should be white.
We call it white because we need a word.
Black is the absence of light,
but white is the absence of memory.
The color of can't remember. - Stephen King <}8})

McEwan - Atonement

Geoge Orwell - Ninety Eighty Four

Thomas Hardy - Far from the madding crowd

Robert Fisk - The age of the warrior
