The people you used to be close with, but stop talking to you and only talk to you when they need something?
Me and this girl "Kayla", were best friends from 5th grade-8th grade. When we got to high-school (we're 20 now), we started hanging out with completely different crowds. I didn't really like the crowd she hung out with or the activities she engaged in and I was really judgmental at the time, so I straight up told her I didn't approve of her lifestyle. We stopped being friends for a while, but 3 months later, we started talking again just in time for a guy we knew to pass away. We ended up going to his funeral together and we talked for a little while after that, but I wouldn't have called us "friends", just acquaintances. On the other hand, I'm still friends with her sister (age 16), which is really weird since "Kayla" started off as my friend and now her younger sister is my friend. Anyways, me and "Kayla" hardly talk, as she's busy with college, her boyfriend, and her job. About 20 min. ago, she IMed me and asked her if I could help her with a paper she has to write for school. We haven't talked in months (minus me wishing her a happy birthday 2 months ago) and the only time she contacts me is to ask for help?
Does anybody else hate when that happens? Got any personal experiences?
